Visual expression is an essential part of my life. Whether I’m at the potter’s wheel, standing at the easel, or perched on the edge of the wilderness, I find peace and enter a flow state by capturing a scene or image and letting the message unfold in my work. Nothing quite inspires me like the world around us. Reflecting the diversity of nature itself, I work in a variety of mediums, often layering and combining them to find new ways of expression. For me, the act of creating is essential to how I engage with and absorb my surroundings. Through my work, I hope to continue expressing myself and forging meaningful connections with others.
